The NFL Draft is one of the most anticipated times of the football year.
It has been months since the Super Bowl concluded the season and fans have been clamoring for just a little bit of football action.
The draft features major prospects from around the country, each of which has the potential to make an impact from day one.
Here are a few of the top 2023 NFL draft prospects worth keeping an eye on.
And check out some NFL betting offers and promos here.
Who Are The NFL Draft 2023 Hottest Prospects?
1. Bryce Young, Alabama
What better place to start talking about the 2023 draft prospects than with the Alabama quarterback? Despite questions about his size (5-10, 204), Young has everything that it takes to be an elite-level quarterback in the NFL.
He has special athleticism, a strong arm, and a quick throwing motion that allows him to put the ball anywhere on the field. Like any young quarterback, not just 2023 NFL Draft prospects, he could use a little accuracy work.
Still, with intangible qualities that few can match, Young is the kind of player that can transform a franchise the minute he walks into the facilities.
Carolina knew what they were giving up when they moved up. For the first time since prime Cam Newton, the Panthers have their man under center.
Edit: Drafted by the Carolina Panthers
2. Jalen Carter, Georgia
Dominant linemen are difference-maker in the NFL. When it comes to the 2023 draft class, Carter may be the best player at any position. He has everything you could want from an interior lineman: size, strength, speed, and athleticism.
Carter is the kind of disruptive force that NFL offenses plan for. And when it comes to 2023 NFL Draft Prospects, Carter has perhaps the best chance to become a dominant force immediately.
If it weren’t for off-the-field concerns, Carter would be the clear #2 player in the entire 2023 draft class. As of right now, he is still among the best NFL Draft 2023 prospects but he may fall further than anyone expected.
Edit: Drafted By The Philadelphia Eagles
3. Will Anderson Jr., Alabama
Anderson is the unquestioned top pass-rusher when it comes to 2023 NFL Draft prospects. He has everything that a modern edge rusher could need to be dominant at the position.
His quickness, strength, power, and sheer explosiveness make him a problem for even the most experienced and skilled offensive linemen.
Anderson is so good that he has been given consideration for the number one overall pick in this 2023 draft class. While it seems clear that Carolina has traded up to get Young, Anderson would be far from a bad pick.
There are a few dominant 2023 NFL Draft prospects available but Anderson has the potential to be at the Joey/Nick Bosa level of dominant rusher.
Edit: Drafted By The Houston Texans
4. Will Levis, Kentucky
Levis has shot up the draft board after another solid season at Kentucky. He has the athleticism, accuracy, and arm to be not only one of the top 2023 NFL Draft prospects but one of the bright young quarterbacks in the NFL.

He doesn’t have the kind of breakout athleticism of the top-end 2023 draft prospects, but his arm and ability to get the ball out quickly will be valuable. Whoever takes Levis will be getting a good one even if he isn’t the dominant player the others may be.
5. C.J. Stroud, Ohio State
For some, there is a debate to be had about which quarterback is the best of the best when it comes to 2023 NFL Draft prospects.
Stroud has the size that Young does not. Stroud is more cerebral as a passer. While he might not have the athleticism that Young does, he has great accuracy and has shown the ability to get away from pressure.
There are a few 2023 NFL Draft prospects at the quarterback position that has the difference-making ability. Stroud has been dominant at one of the top programs in college.
When it comes to the 2023 NFL Draft rankings, it will be hard for teams in the top five to look elsewhere, especially those who need to consider their need at quarterback.
Edit: Drafted By The Houston Texans
6. Anthony Richardson, Florida
Richardson has skyrocketed up the charts recently, becoming one of the top 2023 NFL Draft prospects in the eyes of some.
His athleticism is unmatched, with elite speed and a cannon of an arm that can make any throw from anywhere.
While the athleticism is eye-popping, there are aspects of his game that need work.
The reason he isn’t consistently listed with Young and Stroud among the best 2023 NFL Draft prospects is that his mechanics and decision-making still need honing.
If he can become more accurate and consistent, Richardson could become a dominant force at the next level.
Edit: Drafted By Indianapolis Colts
7. Devon Witherspoon, Illinois
Witherspoon may be one of the more polarizing 2023 NFL Draft prospects.
Depending on who you ask, he is either the top corner available and a top 10 pick or more of a mid-late first-round pick. He has a similar size to Gonzalez though he may not possess the same physical tools.
Having said that, he is coming off of one of the best advanced stats seasons for a corner.
Witherspoon uses his size well and makes a ton of plays on the ball, particularly when in man coverage. Witherspoon is perhaps one of the more underrated of the 2023 draft prospects.
Edit: Drafted By The Seattle Seahawks
8. Peter Skoronski, Northwestern
Tackle is a foundational aspect of any offense. When looking at the 2023 NFL Draft prospects, it is hard not to see standout Chargers tackle – and former Northwestern tackle – Rashawn Slater in Skoronski. He is smooth and smart, possessing elite quickness and speed for his size.
He also has the NFL in his blood as his grandfather Bob played for the Packers back in the day.
While he may not have the size or athleticism of Paris Johnson Jr., Skoronski has all the tools to be an elite-level offensive tackle at the next level and one of the best 2023 draft prospects from top to bottom.
Edit: Drafted By the Tennessee Titans
9. Tyree Wilson, Texas Tech
There is always a premium, especially at the top of the draft, for elite edge rushers.
Wilson may not have the production of a Will Anderson or a Myles Murphy, but he has the kind of physical package that makes for the top 2023 NFL Draft prospects.
At 6-6, 271, he has a huge frame that makes it tougher for big linemen to handle. Moreover, he has great athleticism for his size and the kind of versatility that could see him play all over the front seven.
He doesn’t get the hype that some of the other prospects do but when all is said and done, the 2023 draft class could be remembered for Wilson and the impact he makes.
Edit: Drafted By Las Vegas Raiders
10. Quentin Johnston, TCU
While there may be no elite receivers in the 2023 draft class, it is hard to ignore what Johnston brings to the table.
At 6-3, 208, he has great size and the kind of speed needed to bust open top of the defense. Those elite skills immediately make him one of the 2023 NFL Draft prospects to watch.
He has one problem, however, and it is a noticeable one. He has the ability to make the circus catch but consistency has been an issue with routine catches.
If Johnston can correct those issues, he will turn into one of the steals among 2023 draft prospects.
Edit: Drafted By The LA Chargers
11. Christian Gonzalez, Oregon
Defensive back is a position that gets attention every spring. Among the NFL Draft 2023 prospects, Gonzalez is showing himself to be the top option at the position. Gonzalez has everything needed to be among the best of the 2023 NFL Draft prospects – size, speed, agility, and physical touch.
At 6-1, 197, Gonzalez has a long, lean frame that can be used to mirror defenders. While some consider him to be some time away from being a finished product, there are few 2023 NFL Draft prospects at the corner position that can match his abilities.
Though he may not be the Juice Gardner of the 2023 draft class, Gonzalez should equate to a pretty good corner.
Edit: Drafted By The New England Patriots
12. Bijan Robinson, Texas
In recent years, the NFL Draft's top prospects rarely include running backs. It is seen as a position where value can be found in later rounds. But when talking about the most dynamic 2023 NFL Draft prospects, any list would be remiss to leave Robinson out.
Robinson has great burst and home-run ability every time that he touches the ball. He has the speed, size, vision and motor to find the hole and leave defenders in the dust. With quick cuts and elite receiving skills, he could be the kind of dynamic running back that becomes a featured name right out of the gate.
Edit: Drafted By The Atlanta Falcons
