March Madness has been exactly that thus far for the 2023 edition - some unbelievable upsets, some amazing buzzer beaters, all sprinkled in with the best young players in the country fighting hard for the ultimate prize - to become the 2023 NCAA Championship winners!
As we enter the Sweet Sixteen stage we've already seen several of the pre-tournament title fancies crash out, including two number one seeds in Purdue and Kansas. Plus, we still have a 15 seed in the mix, with Princeton, who defeated a two seed in Arizona in the first round, becoming the Cinderella team as they look to advance to the Elite Eight.
Current Odds To Win March Madness 2023
The two remaining one seeds in Alabama and Houston now sit atop the betting for the National Championship winner market. But behind them it's almost double figure odds for the remaining teams. Both the Crimson Tide and the Cougars have tricky Sweet Sixteen matchups against really good 5 seeds in San Diego State and Miami and outcome of those games will no doubt have a massive affect on what this market looks like post this round.

Alabama Crimson Tide (+350)
Now the tournament favorites, Alabama have looked outstanding in their two dominant wins against Texas A&M and Maryland. They now seemingly have a potential easier pathway to the Final Four at least, with the 2, 3 and 4 seeds from their section already bundled out of the tournament.
Plus, they have firepower all across the court - in fact their star forward Brandon Miller hasn't really found his groove yet, but others have stepped up and made life easy for the Tide. It's no surprise they top the betting now to win it all.

Houston Cougars (+400)
The pre-tournament favorites have done nothing necessarily wrong to have been displaced atop of the market, with two fairly comfortable wins under their belt, and it's possibly more a reflection of what Alabama has done and their easier path to the Final Four that has seen that change.
They were down 10 at halftime against Auburn in their latest matchup, but they pummeled the Tigers in the second half and won going away late. Texas and Xavier do represent huge threats though if Houston can get past Miami in the Sweet Sixteen.

Connecticut Huskies (+1000)
The Huskies are rolling, and now with the number one seeded Jayhawks bundled out of the tournament, Connecticut will see this as a huge opportunity to get to the Final Four at the very least, and with the way they are playing right now, their rivals will be extremely worried about a matchup with them.
They do have to get through Arkansas, who are riding high after knocking off Kansas, but they'll line up as clear favorites to do so and perhaps they are the best value team to win ther whole thing of those remaining.
